Hello friends and dedicated readers!
As some of you are aware, I have been carrying around quite a load in my belly for the past nine months and this past Thursday evening, we very excitedly gathered at the hospital to see if our precious bundle of joy would grace us with our presence.
Without giving too much detail, we were quickly induced after a trip to the hospital Thursday evening after dinner since I hadn’t felt the baby move in a few hours and within five hours, our second daughter was born!

Mei happily greeted her new baby sister, Emily to our family with kisses and looks of amazement!

Emily Ruth, born at 10:51am on Friday, July 13th – she weighed in at 6 lbs 6 oz and measured 20 inches!

We are all very happy, and very tired but finding joy in each moment we get to spend with our newest member of the family as we settle into a new routine and get to know each other.

For my French Fridays, Tuesdays with Dorie and Secret Recipe Club friends – I will be keeping up with my posts to each group as much as I can for the time being! Bear with me please as we make some room in the kitchen for our newest cook!
For the rest of my regular posts, they may post a little less often than usual for a little while, but I promise you an abundance of exciting new recipes this summer – so keep your eyes out for them!
Have a great weekend everyone!
