Do you or your better half have a go-to condiment that must always be on the table when you sit down to a meal?
We do at our house and it is a big tall bottle of bright red Sriracha sauce. You know, the one that has a cock on the side?

My husband LOVES that stuff! We go through at least one bottle every month and he keeps a bottle at work for his lunches. A big squirt of it goes on each and every bite of anything we make for a meal.
Because he loves it so much, I’m always on the hunt for a new way to incorporate it into different foods and snacks that he likes because I know he will appreciate and love it.
Right now, we are working on eating through our pantry and I came across a can of Cannellini beans while I was fishing stuff out that I needed to make some seven layer dip for our New Year’s Eve game night and decided to make a dip just for my husband to enjoy.

This is very reminiscent of hummus, just better, creamier and with a much bigger kick than you get with hummus.
And it’s a great source of protein!
We paired it with simple tortilla chips, but it would make a great side for radishes, celery sticks and anything else really that you can think of!
Is there a sriracha lover inĀ your life?
Ingredients:
- one 15 oz can of white beans, I like the creamy Cannellini beans, rinsed
- 1 TBS olive oil
- 1 TBS sesame oil
- 2 tsp soy sauce
- 2 TBS Sriracha sauce
- 1 L clove of garlic
- 1/2 tsp curry powder
- 1/4 C water
- 1 TBS lime juice
Combine all the ingredients in a food processor or blender and pulse until smooth.
Taste and adjust the seasonings to your taste. My husband added a couple more tablespoons of Sriracha and an extra squeeze of lime juice!
I had never heard of Sriracha until I became a Dorista about two years ago. Honest. Never knew about the product. About a year ago Bon Appetit had an article on 25 ways to use Sriracha. I know you could find it by googling.
LOL interesting how we discover things isn’t it??
I don’t love sriracha at all but I love to make things with it for my hubby!
