Hello everyone!

We finally received word that all the boxes our movers packed back in England have arrived in California!!

Which means we can finally give up our camping chairs and washing each dish after every meal and use, fold up and deflate our air mattresses and really start to settle into our new home and make it ours!!

What that means for you, is that you can expect for this blog to go “back to normal!” I will be posting recipes, some leftover from the last of our time in England, which I hadn’t posted before we left, along with the Slow Cooker Sunday series and of course, new gardening posts!

You can however, expect to see some changes!! I have finally decided to change the name of my blog – so keep your eyes peeled for a new name and banner and design in general! I am still working on the graphics and design but couldn’t wait any longer to announce some upcoming changes! I will also be keeping a separate gardening blog, which I will post a link to through this blog (whose address will not change) each time a post goes up.

Is there anything you would like to see posts about or particular recipes you have been after, Japanese or otherwise? Let me know all the things you have liked and loved about this blog and things you might like me to change!

There has been a brief interruption with our Foodie Photo Challenge, but don’t worry dear reader, I will be leaving you with a new photo today!
